Spring Flowers Coming Soon

Over the past 3 years we have been planting spring bulbs, although looking at last year’s photos it is hard to believe! Over 500 Snowdrops, 200 Bluebells, 50 Aconites, 1000 Daffodils plus many cyclamen plants, primroses and cowslips.

Each year we try to add more to increase the coverage and density, makes you respect the displays seen at the grand houses.

In 2014 we planted bluebell patches under the rockery maple and beside the right hand side front wall. Also bluebells and snowdrops in a 3m dia patch near the white birch tree at the front.

The large snowdrop gardens (see earlier Posts) are opening this year from End January, so February would be a good time to see them at their best.
